No. better choice is to bring it to a recover technician and try to recover data.

Just changed all 3 belts now I have a horrible noise, sounds like it needs a major valve adjustment. Why wasn't it making noise before and now it is? This doesnt make sense!!!

If all you changed are the belts external to the engine, your valves should not have been affected. Are you hearing a high-pitched sound when you start it? If so, try tightening the alternator belt a few turns. I have two Rodeos and both will squel if that belt tension is not correct.

My disher washer is making a high pitched sound when I turn it on.

is this a new unit or old one? the high pitched sound is the pump some models make this sound every time they start up. it will make the sound when you start it up but then goes away. try this before you start it run the hot water in the sink let it get hot turn off the faucet then turn on the dishwasher.

My passport 500gb external just stopped working. It froze up so I removed it and plugged it back in. When I plugged it back into my computer it starts spinning but then makes a click sound and stops.

The clicking sound is caused by the spindle inside the hardrive, because it was not removed properly. Just connect you external hardrive to your computer, if it makes the clicking sound again dont remove it yet, just restart your computer properly. In that way all the devices connected to the computer will be refreshed and properly shut down. If it is not detected still, unplug the haardrive then try another USB port. Recommended ports are at the back of the CPU if your using a desktop. These USB ports have higher voltage output that can power up all external hardrives properly.

Maxtor 3100 80GB External Hardrive clicking/humming sound.

This could be an issue with the circuit board.I am facing a similar problem & shown it for repairing. And facing issue in sourcing the IC. Seagate is giving support for maxtor after it has taken over. Data recovery is possible only if the circuit is working.

High pitched buzz/whine during wash cycle only, spin fine

1) Make sure valve is open all the way 2) some machines have a screen inside of the hose hook up which could be clogged. 3) last check to see if it is the hot or cold by switch your selector switch on your machine to hot then cold. If one of these positions eliminate the noise then the valve in the machine is bad.

High Pitch Noise on 42" PLasma Gateway TV

how old is your plasma TV? try check the switch / volume of the sound settings.. Sometimes, when you always increase the volume, it will tend to alter the limit of sound and causing the sound to provide sound undesiredness. I suggest to check it with a liscensed technician.

Fridge is making noise

The high pitched sound could be from the evap fan motor. If you can get to it a drop of silicon oil would solve the problem.
