Return it to the seller. It should be formatted at the factory. It may be defective - that happens frequently. Try it in another computer first.

My 4GB USB was reduced into 0.97 MB how can i repair and bring it back to 4GB?

This problem could be usb chipset if you can't restore by the following solution. 1. Try Partitioning the usb flashdrive thru disk management.Right click my computer>manage>disk management. See if the disk is recognizable.Try to repartition / Format 2. Use third party program like HP USB disk storage format tool/PTDD Super Fdisk/ repair flashdisk. 3.Partition magic 8.0 is very useful in terms of sizing of drive, try playing this tool. 4. Go to the site of your brand usb drive sometimes they have their own recovery tools or low level formatting software that might help you! Thanks.

My c703 won't format a new memory card. The old memory card is full (2GB), but I've tried two NEW Lexar 4GB cards and neither will format. Help!

Hi, The reason neither 4GB card will format is because that camera is only able to support, at most, a 2GB card. I'd suggest returning the 4GB card and getting another 2GB one.

Formatting will erase all data on this disk. to

Hi there

#1
Insert your ( memory card , flash disk , cellphone , .... ) into your computer.
#2
Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
#3
Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
#4
In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
#5
Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
#6
Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

Kodak easyshare M1093 refuses to format disk

The recommended card for your camera are those SDHC type or 2GB-16 GB SDHC card, try to use at least 2 SDHC card if this failed it means the memory card reader of your camera is already defective. Just in case this will happen try to contact Kodak at 1 800 235 6325 ext 12.

Wont autorun! not formatted?

Yeah there is an issue with the format of the card, you would need to format the card before you use it ever in your camera or pc.. The thing is people think there already formated and the camera sotred the pics on it without a format or with a format of its own that is not recon. by the computer. Make sure you format using FAT and not NTFS or any other format to allevaite further issue's.. I hope this helps you and Thank you for using Fixya.com please rate this soution we do not get compensated for free questions however we look for good ratings..
