Question about Intel DG43NB Motherboard
Boot her up with a xp cd in the cd/dvd drive. She will take boot sector from there. Problem is that you mounted a SATA drive on an old IDE motherboard and used an additional PCI interface card that misfires
too fast or to slow to get xp's boot sector. Had such a case under my hands few months ago. This was the solution there.
Copied xp to a separate DVD and uses this to boot system, pc will only use boot sector from this and then use installed sata drive. Once fired up you can tempoerarily remove that CD/DVD and use for tasks.
Your problem lies in an older BIOS or older component. Maybe there is a later version.
BIOS flashing is tricky. Be sure to have backup before flashing. No experience leave it.
