After cleaning card and card slot, also check the card slot, there are thin wire contacts that connect with the game card, check if there are bend wires, they need to be pararel all of them.

if one of them are bend to the side, the game wont load.

I have a Playstation 2. I was about to play a game (Spyro: A Hero's Tail) and licked on 'load game' when the screen came up with a message saying, 'Load failed! Data could not be loaded...

Try starting the game without the memory card. If it starts up then you know that you have a bad memory card.

Get yourself a branded R4i card, micro sd card, and copy all your game files to it along with the files at this download link http://www.r4isdhc.com/download_v2-0i/ and download top left, english one :), turn it on, chose game card, it will load another operating system which will support all of your games :)

When i turn on my ps2 and try to load a game it is saying that the memery card slot one is currupt. what do i do

It means your card is useless, that and your saved games. Most likely you shut it off during a save game state and it messed it up. However there are some games where you cant save at a certain point or the save data will get corrupt.

Opt 1: have a backup card. Without inserting the game, load the ps2, then make a duplicate save on your 2nd card.

Opt 2: format the card without loading a game in the ps2.

Not loading pc game

Is the game compatable with the program you are useing eg xp vista if not it will therefore not load or play? Check the back of the game and it should tell you what compatable systems you can use it with. If it is compatable with your system is your graphics card and sound card fast enough to play it? This can also affect the loading of a game, but normally it will load but not play if it was this.
