Question about Craftsman 3 gal. Air Compressor, 1.5 hp, Horizontal k
Most likely it's a burned out starting capacitor. Running any tool that uses as much power as an air compressor does will usually burn out the capacitors. They burn out because there is too much voltage drop due to the resistance of the cord. The best bet is to buy longer hoses or if you must use an extention cord use a 10 ga. cord.
