For that first make sure your usb cable connected to printer is working fine.
Try usb cable in different usb ports.
Then you need to reinstall usb drivers and printer drivers.
For that right click on my computer icon then click on property then click on hardware ->device manager then you can see all drivers list.
Uninstall all usb drivers from there.
Then go to control panel->add remove programs and uninstall printer driver from there.
Then download driver from below link and install in computer.
Click here
Click on above link and select your os then download driver and patch update for communication issue.Then install both.

the prtr was wroking fine yesterday - today not working.

I do not want to go thru the install drivers hoops, unless absolutely necessary

Your printer driver are corrupted so you have reinstall sub drivers and printer driver and updates then it will work again.

Hi! Your cartridge head must be block by dried ink. So, remove your cartridge and take some soft paper and rub the head until the color stained fully on your paper... thanks

the prob is you have to cancle all pending printing jobs then restart your pc it will print

When I print out something, like a self-made label (basically with a box around the text), the box comes out crooked every time I print. Help!

check the manuall to re align the printer head, or search google how to re align hp deskjet d1341 printer head. hope this helps

Light is blinking but will not print

One or both print head are defective.Open cover put out color cartridge then close cover.If blinking stops replace color cartridge.If blinking continues put out black cartridge and put in color.If blinking stops replace black cartridge, if not stop replace both cartridges.

Prints only top section of test page

when you start printing first you look print preview button in the word. then click print you get full printed .
if its not printing it will be the problem of your ink, it will bw finsh please check it or take printer settting and give printing formate A4 size then print it it will be ok.

Hp d1341 not printing

dear maxin
when light blinks it means that one of the two cartridge is not ok.
Do one thing, put out one of the cartridge and then close the door of printer, if the light blinks, then do same with the other cartridge.
If you can borrow the two cartridge from anywhere for a minute. Your problem has been solved.
