Question about ATI RADEON® 9250, (128 MB) AGP Graphic Card
Hi I did a full system restore and can't get my graphic card to work again. I reloaded the drivers from the disk I received when I purchased the card and also I tried loading them from your website and both failed to work. The computer did give me a notice that new hardware was installed after I removed the card and cleaned the contacts and installed the card again. When I click onto the ATI icon to setup the software it only shows the computers original Dell Dimension Intel (R) graphics controller along with a blank blue screen without any setup info and it will not alow me to enter any info. Thank you
Try unistalling the Dell Dimension Intel (R) graphics controller form your device manager...how?...
1. On My Computer, right click and select properties.
2. Select Hardware tab, and click Device Manager.
3. On the list of device manager, click View menu and select Devices bt type
4. Double click Display Adapters, to display the list of connected graphics adapter.
5. Disable the graphics adapter listed, by right clicking of the file name and select uninstall.
6. Now close any program and shutdown your computer..
7 Connect your video card to the motherboard and turn on your computer. Yous computer will run its add new hardware device , just be ready with your driver files..
I hope that will make your video card work again with your motherboard
Much appreciated if you rate this solution..thanks.
