Question about Moen 3175 Legend One Handle Shower Faucet With trol Pressure Balancing Valve....
My Delta shower faucet with a single handle is loose since I bought the house. I suspect a spacer is missing but I cannot remove the handle.
I have loosed the set screw but the handles does not want to come off.
How can I get the handle off to see what is wrong by myself?
You need a faucet handle puller, you can get these at most home center and hardware/plumbing stores.
Once you get the handle and cover off you might just find that the control was never fully mounted.
