This error relates to the scanner's Optics (Flex cable) or with the Scanner Sensor. First of all you need to check the flex cable (carbon wire), if possible replace it. You can also check it's continuity using a multimeter. To check the sensor, you'll need to call the technician to fix it for you. If your sensor is bad, they'll replace it. Or if it's under warranty, better directly go to the retailer and claim your warranty before you do anything. I suggest you to let the technician do it for you unless you are sure that you can fix. If you have the manufacturer's user manual, please refer. I wish you good luck.
