Hi! just a tip in most cases this works. try to do power drain, try to turn off the computer make sure that it is completely turned off, remove the battery and the ac adapter and anything that is plugged on to your computer. press and hold the power button for 15 seconds. try to put the battery back and the ac adapter as well, try to power it on. if still doesnt work try to uninstall and re install the touchpad driver for your lenovo laptop. hope this would help! goodluck!

Hi Julia.

Have you tried restarting your computer? The manual for your device shows there's a keyboard command to turn the cursor on or off.

Fn + F6

I've attached the manual for your reference, below:

Cursor stuck screen

Boot into the ThinkVantage Recovery partition during startup by pressing the blue ThinkVantage button on the keyboard. See whether the TrackPoint and trackpad work consistently in there. If you don't have the recovery partition, test the problem in this: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?LegacyDocID=MIGR-6291 Use ThinkVantage System Update to download all the latest drivers, firmware, and updates.

I am loking for touchpad drivers of Lenovo laptop Model- 3000 G430

Hi appoddar1988,

I see you need drivers for your Lenovo G430.

what type of drivers do you need? you mentioned that you need touchpad Drivers, what issue are you experiencing with you Touchpad?

You can get the drivers from this link .

But if you are experiencing Jumping cursor issue then you do not need to reinstall your touchpad drivers you try installing touch freeze on your system this actually helps with the jumping cursor issues in th Lenovo G series Laptop.

Just google Touch Freeze you should see links where you can download Touch freeze for free.

I hope this helps.

Have a nice day,

My cursor wont move when I use the onboard mouse on my Lenovo N500 laptop. How do I unfreeze it

Hi
There is a little button that controls the cursor of your laptop. All you need to do is to press the button just right above the onboard mouse and it would unfreeze. You might have also mistakenly poured water or any liquid on thar surface,it could also affect the cursor.

Perhaps the key is slightly stuck? Try very gently pulling up on the key, or to be safe, look up a video online that shows you how to remove the key cap and see if there is an issue.
