Hello,
the problem of the system could be either the rubber attached to the motor is too big, cut ,
OR
the mechanism of the system needs adjustment.
Replace part with the same size.
Hope this will help...
You have to do this by opening the cover of the system.

The door to the turntable will not open and the turntable just keeps trying to change. Had to unplug it to make it stop.

There is a problem with the rubber belt that drives the door of the turn table. Open the cd player and replace the rubber belt.

The repair shop suggests sending my cd player to the manufacturer. How do I find out where and if possible? Can't get loading tray to open - seems jammed. Model C-707CHX

Hey there
Usually there is a lttle hole in the front panel near the eject button. All you need to is insert a pin into the hole and just pull open the trey.
The button in the little hole releases the locking mechanism so the trey can move out freely.

Please rate solution

Best regards

I cannot open the CD driver to run EZTune. The images on the monitor are in Japanese, and I would like to change the language. I would also like to run other installation CDs. I've tried the remote, a red...

without knowning what type of cd player you are talking about... get a paper clip and open it up so you have part of it somewhat straight with the cd player power downed and unpluigged... there is usually a small whole on the front. Push the paperclip in you can force the front out it requires some force but wait until the clip doesn't go further then push harder.

Being that it is an old unit, even though it worked just fine except I had to open and close the drawer by hand. I sent it to the trash bend, It was an Onkyo C110. Thanks anyway!....Bob

CD Carousel for the Onkyo Shelf System

I have the same exact problem with my Onkyo C-707CHX and I found a solution that doesn't involve jamming any screws or other metal objects into your cd tray (which could most likely just cause more damage). This way seems a little safer: Power on your device and hit the open button. As soon as you hit the open button quickly push slightly with both hands on both sides of the cd tray that should be opening. You should hear the trays moving around in there and then you have to try to feel for a slight push from the tray. As soon as you feel that slight push, take your hands off of the tray and let it come out. This has been working for me for a while now (and hopefully will continue to work until I take it to get fixed somewhere). The only issue I have run into is that my "Disc 1" open button doesn't work with this method. So I just use this method with disc 2 or 3 and then once it's open I can hit the disc 1 button to get to that tray. So if it doesn't work with one tray, try the other two as well. Hope this helps.
