My Rockford Fosgate 6 disk changer/cd player has been losing power, audio, and only allowing one disk to be inserted at a time. Is there a way to reset the changer?

I recommend you check the data cable to your changer. If your unit has been losing power it could be a loose connection or a loose ground. Check both. As for the allowing only one CD at a time, I'm not sure about that one. The only way to reset electronics is to disconnect the power and leave it off for about 15 minutes. This usually clears all radios, and vehicle computers for that fact. If the changer is not that old, you might utilize a warranty at this point. If it is past warranty dates, then make sure you are cleaning the reader and the cartridge. There may also be something in the player blocking the entry of the CDs. Hope this helps.

Have a 2001 Toyota Solara - when I insert a cd, I get a err 3 message. Help?

This is somewhat common on these cars for the cd changer to come apart, seek out a dealer and a $500 radio replacement is all they can offer.
If you remove and disassemble the radio you can retrieve your cd's but the most cost effective solution here is going to be to find a used radio from a salvage yard or ebay, or just install a aftermarket upgrade radio from someone like best buy or www.crutchfield.com

Hi, I would like to connect a volvo cr 905 car radio to a sony cdx 656 cd changer. But the cable connector is different from the radio unit. Where to get the right connector from?

the volvo radio and sony changer are not compatible. the only way to connect the changer to the radio is with an fm transmitter.

Cant get jvc car stereo to work a sony cd changer

Does your sony cd changer have a separate controller and rf modulator interface? It's a wire from the cd changer with a little box close to the end and an antenna plug at the tip? If you do just plug it into the back of your radio where the antenna goes in, then plug the car antenna jack into the other side of the little box and turn your radio to the marked setting on the box. IF NOT , you can not interface the din plug from a sony into a jvc radio because the sony radio that has a md controller built in will control all of the functions of the matching cd change.
I hope this helps...

My stereo has xm radio but does not give me that option when i press srs it only gives me radio and to play cd

you have to buy another unit to hook up to your deck, your deck is compatable with xm but does not have it, my jvc is good for both kinds but i have to buy a brain for it then the radio unit as well.
