Question about Dell W2600 26 in. LCD Television

DELL W2600 turns on for a moment and then turns off. When everything looks good turns for about 2min.

Two capacitors open up in high voltage section. one can tell by the capacitors round on top.

Google Dell W2600 blink codes. You're tv is doing a self diagnostic and letting you know what's wrong with by flashing the yellow light. Count how many time and if there is a sequence to it, then look it up.

If you can Solder and know what capaciotrs,resistors are you can ,or you can exchange out the boards. Look for Bad Capacitors on the Power Supply Board, this is the most common problem on these TVs 1000uf 16v 2200uf 10v 3300uf 10v they will be vented or puffed up on Top.

Back lights invereter or power supply. look for 24vdc on the power supply which is needed for the inveeter board.
look for bad caps in the power supply.

The video drive board may have failed, or the output section of the power supply that drives the video drive board may have failed.

It is also possible and is common on LCD sets, that the backplane lamp supply, and or the backplane lamps have failed.

Turn on the LCD TV set, and shine a flashlight in to the screen at an offset angle. If you can see a bit of the image, you know that everything is working, and it is a backplane illumination problem.
