Press the +-/WB/FUNC button. Use up/down to select Drive Mode (the rectangle, third item from the top). Use left/right to select two-second or ten-second delay. Start the self-timer by pressing the shutter release button as normal.

Press the self-timer button (marked with a one-handed clock). Use up/down to select an option. Start the self-timer by pressing the shutter release button as normal.

Canon A480 - how to set self timer


According to page 57 of my copy of the A480 manual:

Press down-arrow.

Select the self-timer (the 10 inside a clockface).

Press FuncSet.

This sets the self-timer. Press the shutter halfway to focus, and fully to take the shot.

Cannot find a driver for Canon PowerShot S45 for Windows Vista


When connecting a digital camera to your computer with the usb connector, then turning it on the memory card in the camera becomes a removable drive under My Computer and will also bring up a dialogue window that will ask if you want to import pictures, etc. There is no need for a driver. Press Func set., on the left hand side of the display third down is the drive mode, you can choose the time you want to set you self-timer for. Hope you find it. =)
