Lexmark z23 it's installed, I have alll the settings correct, it just won't print. The paper just sits in the printer. It says "can't communicate with the printer." But i'm sure it's all hooked up right.
Have tried unloading, and re loading the software. Contacted Tech Support at Lexmark, after about an hour of exchanging messages, and running various tests, they fuinaly said there's a problem with the printer, and that they could save me 20% off the price of a replacement printer.Have tried unloading, and re loading the software. DONT GET THIS Z23 PRINTER ,its a mechanical problem, the problem its the rollers , where you see some wheels inertchanging with each other , check for some broken teeth on these pulleys , printer suffers this problem ,

Good day!Is your new driver compatible with your Lexmark printer?and is your cartridge had no defect?..try to calibrate the cartridge..look to the manual of the printer..
Make sure you inserting the paper not deep inside just insert and stop it when you feel any resistance .and try to print something. If it is print then well otherwise you have to show it service center. Hope this helps. Please rate my response. Thanks. Have a good day.
you need the Lexmark z23 driver installed on your computer first. Here is the lexmark website. just download the driver and install it. Once that is done you should be able to chose it when printing.

If you have lost you cd or don't know how to install your printer then all you
need to do is download the drivers and software from the manufactures website
that suits your operating system and printer.
go to the printer properties---there select printing preferences ---there select lexmaxr solution center-----in that option select printer cartridge replacement option----in that follow the replacement instructions.and select the cartridges.as it is new.and its proper appropriate number.then only it will print properly.
selecting the cartridge is very much necessary.
its a mechanical issue , if your handy you have to open and check the rollers where its connected with some plastic wheels , I fix one before with this issue , what I found is one of the plastic wheels was broken (pulleys with teeth) , hope this helps AJ
