Hey, dc jacks are always a nightmare to replace, ie i guess you want to replace it, you actually need to remove the motherboard in the machine so you need to remove all screws on the bottom of the laptop, then remove the keyboard, and you will find more screws under there, and you will have to remove screen etc to gain access, ie everything needs to come apart to get into them. and once its apart you will have to unsoldier the old dc jack and resoldier on the new one, if you aint good at soldiering i wouldnt recommend doing it yourself.

    "remove the keyboard"

This is the point the OP was making... "remove the keyboard" yes, but HOW??

The kb is fixed under the surrounding silver casing which cannot be removed without accessing a single screw positioned under the "C" key. It appears to be impossible to access without breaking something.

Seat removal

Hi Anonymous, seat removal can range from the simple and obvious to the complex and baffling for the novice new Harley Davidson owner. Seems like the more expensive the bike is the harder it is to remove the seat. So let's start with the most expensive. 99% of all Harley seats have a male tounge in the front that slides into a female reciever that is either bolted or welded to the frame just behind the fuel tank. For this reason when ever you are removing a seat you must always slide it backwards 3-5 inches. Next they may may have a bolt on each side usually under a flap on the seat. A single screw can secure it to the rear fender or it may have a bracket with two studs secured by nuts or knobs to fasten the rear portion of the seat. If you have a pillion pad or passenger seat that snugs up against the front seat there can be a screw securing the two to the rear fender, you have to get your hand in between the two seats and force seperation of seat material to see and gain acess to the screw. Finally there is the rear seat screw in the back that is the caboose of seat fasteners, usually a large chrome bracket, that screws into the rear fender. Care must be exercised in covering this shinny bauble with your hand during the sliding back procedure so as to NOT scratch the tour pak. So when all the hidden and mysterious fasteners have been removed, it's lift up in the rear, slide backwards a few inches and bingo you have mastered the impossible. Good luck.

How to remove carburetor from 235 husqvarna chain saw

Start by removing the 3 anti vib spring screws, one on the front underside of the saw, one at the rear underside of the saw, and one at the r/h side of the cylinder, remove the 3 screws holding the l/h side of the rear handle and remove the plastic trigger and throttle lock, the handle and spine will now come away as an assembly from the rest of the saw, now remove the screw at the top r/h side of the saw and remove the square orange plastic plate, once removed you will gain acess to the two 8mm nuts under the air filter securing the carb, there is also one torq screw to remove before the carb and filter bacl plate can be removed, you will also have to pull some of the fuel hoses from the carb to completly remove it.

Hi. Have a scc-100 that needs a new battery. How do i pull it apart? Thanks, Jorgen

There is a hidden screw just above the charge jack that holds the top cover in place. Remove the plastic plug that hides the screw, unscrew the screw, and pry off the cover. My unit would not charge anymore. I think the charging electronics are poorly designed. I extracted the battery and electronics leaving only the motor, then wired the motor directly up to a 5 volt battery pack. It now works great!

How to get inside door covering off to get to the power window motor? I've take the 3 bottom screws out as well as the other two hidden by sq. covers, but complete cover doesn't seem to loosen or doesn't...

There are screws in the handle area, bottom of the door, and behind the speaker grill. Just remove the screws and pull out and up on the panel. Remember, there are wires to the power switchs and rods to the handle and door lock button so don't pull the panel away too far too fast. A plastic panel removal tool is helpful and inexpensive. hope this helps

Samsung r60 plus does not recognise a/c power,i put in the battery which does not charge and it works

1. Test power adapter for output voltage. Bend the power cable in various directions while doing this to be sure that there is no broken conductors in the cable.
2. If power adapter is Ok, connect it & see if the power LED on the laptop will glow when you jiggle the power connector in various directions. If yes, then the DC jack might be loose or damaged, & need to be either re-soldered or replaced.
3. If not, then disassemble the laptop. Remove any components that attach to the laptop's motherboard first (e.g. battery, hard drive, RAM, wireless card, optical drive, ... etc.)
4. Next, remove the keyboard & the LCD screen.
5. Finally, unscrew all screws that hold the upper cover & lower cover together so that you could gain access to the motherboard.
6. Inspect the solder points connecting the DC jack to the motherboard. Make sure that none of them is loose. If any, re-solder them.
7. Inspect the center pin in the DC jack. Make sure that it is not broken or loose. If it is, then you might need to replace the DC jack.
8. When you are done, re-assemble back the laptop.

Hoover Quattro Whisper 1400 washing machine AE 240 I would like to clean the filter as scum builds inside the rubber seal on the door Cant find the filter, no obvious opening

On the front bottom of the machine there is a plastic 'kick plate' that clips/pushes on. Remove this plate and you will see the filter with a cover secured by a star/phillips screw. Loosen screw and twist this cover off to gain acess. Don't do what i've just done and twist without removing this screw as it breaks it:-(

anyone who knows where i can get a filter cover please post back!

Qosmio g25-av513 disassembly

Hi Paul have a g25-av513. First disconnect and remove both hard drives and the battery. In the battery compartment there is a small screw you need to remove and in the hard drive 2 bay there are 2 f8 screws that need to be removed as well. In all there should be 17 screws that need to be removed before you can pop the back cover off. When removing pay close attention to the connectors attached to the underside of the back cover. be careful not to pull to hard or you may tear the connectors which are very thin wires. First you have to remove all the screws on the underside of the laptop. The screws are marked f8's and f16's the longer ones are the f16's of course. I have taken mine apart several times already due to a boot up shut down issue which I believe is related to the modem board underneath hard drive 2. It seems that when ever I disconnect and reconnect this board my power shut down issue disappears. If it happens again I'm going to remove i all together and see if that takes care of my problem.
