SOURCE: kenwood turntable cover hinge replacement

Yes they can be replaced.

Contact the store you purchased it from or ask where they have repairs done. They should be able to order the parts for you.

SOURCE: i have an old model

Hi there,

As another South African citizen I can sympathize with you when it comes to finding service & after care support.
Kenwood S.A.'s website tells you to take it back to the store where you purchased it. Great help that is?
They do however give a JHB number where you can contact them:
011 474-0153

Let me know if you have no joy from this number.

Best wishes,
Graemevm

How do I remove power antenna from 1992 300 zx

pop the rear deck lid and remove the right rear plastic trunk cover. To do this you will remove the small plastic piece that is directly in front of the right rear tail light. Then remove the big plastic screw that retains the center plastic deck lid cover. Now remove the three 10mm nuts that keep the right rear plastic cover secured. Remove the right rear plastic cover. Be careful as it can crack if you put too much pressure on it. Look inside and to the right rear where the antenna mast comes up. You will see a small 10mm nut that holds the antenna mast to the body. Take that nut off. This will release the outer body cover from the inner cover. Remove the outer body cover and then remove the two screws from the OUTSIDE of the body cover. Now follow the antenna body down and you will see two or three additional small nuts that hold the antenna assembly metal bracket in place. Remove these. Unplug the antenna co-ax cable from the input. It just slides out. Unplug the antenna connection as well. This is the jack that has the power wires. You will also need to unscrew the ground wire from the inner body frame. There might be a nut on top of the actual antenna mast. If so, just unscrew it. The entire antenna assembly will now lift out. It's a mildly tight fit but you don't need to be too gentle in this step. Normally the problem is the antenna belt has broken inside the antenna assembly and there is no hope of replacing that belt. You have to replace the entire assembly. I found mine on Craigslist from a guy parting his totaled Z. May it rest in peace. His loss - my gain! Typical price is $65, maybe you can talk him down to $50. Installation is the above process in reverse.

I purchased a nikon coolpix camera a few months back, when purchasing i was asked if i wanted the plan, i asked what it covered and the associate said everything, i told him my 2 year old broke the last...

Well, I would take the Nikon Coolpix camera back to the retailer that sold it to you and ask to talk to the manager about this discrepancy.

Apparently, it says in the fine print that when you purchase a Nikon camera, and it is dropped, that the extended warranty doesn't cover this.

I would tell the retailer that the associate told you that 'EVERYTHING' was covered and you were under the impression that it covered dropping it as well.

I would tell the retailer that you will report them to the Better Business Bureau for misleading statements by a salesperson and see what the manager tells you after that.

It's true that extended warranty plans cover normal wear and tear items, and not abuse or misuse as indicated by dropping it accidentally or getting it wet in the rain, but I would ask the higher ups at the retailer about the warranty being honored since you paid for it.

I hope this helps you out.

I recently got the lcd panel of my laptop fixed but now it's broken again. will dell fix it for me for free since it is within 30 days of when i sent it in for repair??

The answer is: Maybe
  1. Is the system still under warranty?
  2. The previous LCD replacement, was it a manufacturers defect, or broken accidentally?
  3. Is this failure a manufacturer's defect or accidental damage?
If the system is under warranty, any defect failure is covered. If the system has complete care accident damage coverage, accidental damage is covered.
If the system is OUT of Warranty, and it is a manufacturer's defect, it should be covered as repair parts are covered for 90 days or the length of the warranty, whichever is longer.
If accidental damage and out of warranty, you pay for repairs

How do you strip insulation form uf electrical wire

I use a sharp knife and slice off the outer covering on each side of the cable. With practice you can "feel" the outer insulation of the conductor and make the knife slide along it without damage. At that point I simply pull the two conductors out of the covering and use my wire stripper to expose the bare ground wire. When stripping the ground, I use a oversized hole on the wire stripper to keep from scoring the wire.
2 conductor is easier to strip than 3 conductor.

here's another

I've never tried tearing it apart. That sounds like it would be hard on the conductors to me.

Broken face on i pod nano

hello, nothing you can do at home to fix it. You need to either have Apple replace the device or send it out to a repair specialist. If the screen was cracked when you first took it out of the box, then you can get a warranty replacement. But be advised, accidental/physical damage is not covered under warranty by Apple... half the reason people feel so negatively over subjects such as this is because they are misinformed.

Kenwood Microwave 564.8568511 Light Replacement

Ifthere's no obvious removable cover over the bulb (and the owner'smanual doesn't address it) some disassembly may be required.

You can usually find Kenmore exploded views and order parts by entering your model number (564.856511) at the Sears parts site.

Always unplug a microwave before removing or installing any bulbs.

Ifit's an over the range type, remove the vent grille across the top andsee if bulbs can be accessed there. There may be a panel on the bottomcovering the light(s), instead.

If not, chances areyou'll have to remove it from the wall, then remove the outer cover. Ifso, the installation instructions are very handy, and it's best to have two people since the microwave can be heavy and awkward.

Once it's out of the wall, the outer cover (wrapper) will need to be removed, just as you'll need to do on a counter top model.

On a counter top model, be sure it's unplugged, but otherwise ignore the instructions above this paragraph besides the link to the Sears site.

Thescrews you need to remove should be pretty obvious, but a specialdriver (such as a T20H type or GTXH20-100) may be needed.

Be sure to put all the screws back in the right holes, since some may be special grounding screws.

Bulbs can be had in most grocery stores, hardware stores, home improvement centers, and big box or department stores.

Many models use halogen lamps. You must not touch the new one with your bare skin, as the oils will shorten the bulb life.
