Question about Philips Televison & Video
This seems to be a connection related problem between the TV and the DVD. The causes include:
1) It is possible that one of your component video output (red,green and blue jacks) is connected to a composite video input(yellow jack) on the TV.
2) You are using the S-video output while your DVD player's output switch is not on the S position.
3) It could be because of a defective cable.
