Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My thomsom tg585v7 keep loing internet, I switch it of but it still loses connection when switched back on

This is normally a problem with your internet connection, try contacting your ISP.. They are going to send a technical guy to verify your Telephone line..

Frequent disconnection are seldom caused by faulty filters.. Try changing your filters you connected on the telephone RJ11 box..

The Wi-fi protocol has between 11 and 14 channels depending which country you are in (excluding Korea). It sends out "frames" of a certain "density, length" known as packets on a perpetual basis depending on instruction and command,it is agood system but is prone to dropping packets when the connection is not reliable, you could check you signal strength or buy an active type antennae system to help you.withcertain operating systems and other hardware you can adjust your signal strength and other parameters.iaf it is a frequent persistant problem try manual configuration of your settings and values.

FVS 318 Internet Problem

I have been using three FVS-318's over several years with Windows XP, Windows 2000 Clients and Servers. I experienced different problems with all three of them and some of the issues could be resolved by Netgear, others were not. One of the problems was during Terminal Server sessions, the connection would be dropped. From the inbound, everything seemed to be fine. From outbound, the router was simply not accessible. This sounds very much like your problem, only with different applications. Once I started buying total different routers, all my problems were solved. Please don't stick too long with the FVS-318, however the box looks great. Once my problems were solved, I kissed the 318 goodbye. I'm sorry my repsonse to your problem came so late. I recently discovered this website.

Re: Frequent line drop

Easy way to diagnos is call ATT DSL support and ask them to run a line noise test. This will check the signal getting to the gateway. If everything tests fine there is usually an issue with the device.

Losing connection

Try to play first directly to the modem and check if it does the same problem coz maybe it's just your modem dropping the connection..
