I downloaded Skype but i cannot install it. ation got the following message:...skypesetup.exe is not valid WIN32 application please HELP!!!!

Try this installer for version 5.6.0.110:

http://download.skype.com/msi/SkypeSetup_5.6.0.110.msi

or, better yet, the current beta version:

http://download.skype.com/msi/SkypeSetup_5.7.0.123.msi

Sounds like you might have downloaded malware. Did you get it from www.skype.com ? or some other web site? Try downloading a new copy from www.skype.com (and nowhere else!)

Try to uninstall and reinstall again the skype to restore the missing files.

try it from another site
most probably it will be a virus or something
mainly one called win32
run a scan
avg is brilliant

I don't the problem in the drive, please try to copy the file to your desktop then run it again the same error appears, download the installer for your windows then try from the CD
