Go ahead and do this, in case the DB is corrupted:
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx

Change battery sansa ciip

If the MP3 player battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

My sansa won't turn on...the battery was full and everything..I have tried charging it...do I have to get a new one or can it be fixed?

I'd get a new one - the rechargeable battery is probably bad. It'll probably cost as much to replace the battery than getting a new unit. These MP3 players are reasonably priced nowadays.

Did not receive manual. How do you recharge

Simply attach the USB plug that came with the device to your MP3 Player, then plug the other end into a computer, it should automatically start charging! A full charge usually takes about 2 hours.
Hope this helps!

SANA E250 NOT WORKING

The problem may be from these two things (1) The power IC must have been damaged by the current supply (2) The Flex of the phone may be bad. Try to make sure that the battery of the phone is not discharged too, try to power it again and if it doesnt get on then the power IC of the phone is burnt.

Batter low shutting down

Your battery is low, therefore the player is shutting down.
Recharge the player by plugging it into your computer for 3-4 hours - make sure the hold/lock is not activated, or it will prevent proper charging.

Prombles Recharging Battery

Try upgrading the firmware of the player. If it still discharges quickly it may be the battery contact POP and have the battery replaced.
