You don't need the password then. Insert disc and erase away. Make sure save Administrator so you don' have to format again.

The solution to your problem is as follows :-

1. Please ensure that you copy the MP3 Files back to your device after you format it.
2. When you are done copying the files, restart the MP3 Player and check if the files are being read.
3. If the files are not being read , then connect your Mp3 player to your computer and change the format mode while you format the device and then again load the mp3 files and then restart the player to check if the files are detected.
4. To clarify , if you formatted your device using a NTSC format earlier , check formatting it in the fat32 mode and see if it works find after copying the files to the player.

Odd. Try this:
Connect the drive, don't bother formatting. Right click on My Computer (or just Computer from the Start Menu) and select manage. Click on Storage, Disk Management.
Look for the WD drive Right click on any existing partitions/volumes on that drive and delete them. Right click again and select Create partition (something like that, I don't have a drive to play with in front of me). Accept all the defaults but don't select quick format. Let it do a full format!
If, after all that, you still get that error, it might be the drive failing and you'll want to contact WD for a replacement if it's under warranty. If not, you can get another 250+G drive and swap it out yourself. :)

hey try formatting from command mode

[Works in Windows]

Go to START > RUN > type cmd

the black console window will open.it it type format (and the letter of your pendrive drive)

eg : format f:

if you don,t have a proper formatting cd which comes with the laptop.then don,t try to format with any cd it can cause problems.so buy a formatting cd from a reputeted store

switch of your phone then press calling key (green button)+3+* and then switch on your phone. don't release the keys for an minute. then your phone will be formatted and it will be ok.

you don't say how big the card is, my guess is its bigger than 2 gig which is the maximum allowable size for that camera.
