That particular channel is blown. These are not the easiest units to repair. Given that this is a commercial amp, I would recommend that this unit be brought to an authorized Crown service center for repair. Expect parts cost in the $50 range plus the labor charge.

I looked into this model a bit more... This one uses at least 2 stages of output power so the output design is non-standard. If you are not familiar with Crown designs, please seek assistance at a servicer. If you have specific questions, I can answer them.

Hi,, the stop button and channel one on my korg d3200 are almost dead , can i order the parts and replace at home and is there a tutorial about taking off the faceplate etc thx andy

Unless you are electronically adept and have certain tools I would NOT attempt this yourself. You could damage the circuit board causing great repair expense.

CROWN CE1000- slips into fault immediately after connection

if ur output power amp is defective u will have that problem - meaning the moment u connect load across it it will go into circuit protection to limit/stop excessive output current. make sure the speaker terminals are connected to +/- output terminals. in bridge mode use only channel 1 and that too with 4 ohms speaker only otherwise amp will clip. considering all connections are okay if it still clips when speaker is connected, u have a faulty power amp section. this the way ur amp is designed

Right channel dead

Check the gain control in front panel. The material use inside them is pretty thin and weak, an could break loose when hurting during manipulation.

My yahama P3500s Amplifier left channel dead and clipping light stays on both speakers works ok in right channel.

Hi, make sure everything is disconnected, is the clip light still on?
if so then I'm afraid it sounds like the output devices for one channel may have blown, ( not certain, without looking at it i'm afraid ).

If you need more help, then please ask.

Crown CE1000 amps, 1 dead channel - Can I diagnose via RJ-45?

Before asuming it is the power transistors check the power on relay first as mine had the same proble and it was because of the Relay that did not switch on the one channel or amp (remember this is a power amp and consist of two mono amps)

Left channel erratic

You may luck out by using a spray can of electronics contact cleaner and spray the controls through the front end. If you can take the knobs off, that would be good.
You can purchase the contact cleaner in an electronics store such as Radio Shack.
