Just to make a genral statment here. Most logitech hook up via USB port or 3MM jack in the back of the unit the jack is GREEN in color and so should be the cable. Usually but not all the time with these its USB self powered and no need of a driver/software. The reason why I am talking Genral is most askers come to fixya with the wroung model numbers and leave us bad ratings based on the wroung model number. So here you got two options its ether USB or 3MM headphone type of jack that goes into a sound card to the computer.

Thanks for using fixya your solution has been delivered, please do be considerate that it was free when passing threw fixya and leaving your postive feedback and ratings.

I did some extra special work for you and I was right on about my general statement here is a diagram!

I am hoping for more then two thumbs as this is from the manufacture. If you do not have a sound card that has these hookups of course you going to need to buy one.

Follow the step by step color code you cannot go wrong here!!!

SOURCE: Logitech speakers X-530, slow playback!!

hi,
Launch Sounds in Control Panel
Then in the Sound Control Panel right-click on Speakers and select Properties
Navigate to the Enhancements tab and check Disable all enhancements.
IMPORTANT: You MUST have Disable All Enhancements checked even if none of the enhancements are specifically enabled
Then click OK and close the Control Panel.
This should hopefully fix your problem

Good luck

Phone jack on woofer goes into computer tower (should be color coded green) and power cable on woofer plugs into 120VAC. Speaker phone jack plugs into back of woofer. The speaker cable has an on-off switch and volume control as well as a phone jack for your headset.

Logitech speakers used for both labtop and desktop?

External speakers of any kind can be used on a desktop. Just plug the line from the logitech speakers into the Line Out (light green port) on the back of the desktop, plug the power cord in (if there is one) and you're good to go.

I have my logitech z-2300 2.1 speakers hooked up to my imac but the sub doesn't hit near as hard as it did on my pc. have i hooked it up wrong?

Switching from pc to mac could have something to do with that. What i mean by that is the audio card inside the computer is most likely different. It could also have something to do with the equalizer settings on what ever program you are using. If it is a program with an EQ or equalizer setting try turning up 32, 64 and 125 on the EQ. hope this helps

Logitech Z-Cinema Speakers. How do you connect them to a PC Desktop? If bythe USB Cable Supplied does this bypass the PC Soundcard?? Are they compatible with Windows 7? Many Thanks, David

I have these. Just hook up via usb cable. However, to make them work, you have to get the driver for them off Logitechs website. Here is the link : http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/439/3712&hub=1&cl=us,en just click on the "downloads"button and select your operating system and you can find from there.

Need instructions to hook up Logitech X-350 systen to computer or other devise

I take it you mean a Logitech X-530? There is no X-350...
It is designed as a PC speaker system. It has three 3.5mm plugs that plug into the three matching sockets on your computer.
If you don't have three audio sockets on your computer, it is because your computer is not 5.1 compatible. Just plug the green plug into your PCs audio output.
You can buy a 5.1 audio card relatively cheaply.
To hook up other devices: Use the green 3.5mm plug - you will only get stereo, not 5.1

Logitech R-20 connection method

Either way you should be fine. Notebooks have the proper connectors to hook up an external speaker system to them. Just hook up the 1/8" connector with the green end to the green 1/8" female audio port and you're set to go.
