Question about HP dx2300 Monitor Personal computer Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E2160, 1 GB RAM, 80 GB Hard Drive, ... PC Desktop
I loose picture while using the PC screen, I have to press the on/off switch about four times before it will come on again. Do I have switch malfuntion problem and will I have to have it fixed
It does sound like your switch is going bad. I doubt that it would be worth paying to get it fixed.
I am assuming that once it is on that it stays on. If so, I would just leave it on. Assuming that the monitor is fairly new and if it is Energy Star compliant, you should not be drawing much power when the CPU is off.
Hope that helps.
