Where is it ?

You don't say how you edited your video and created the DVD. Assuming you using Imagemixer 3 that comes with Panasonics, there is a *.i3e (project) file somewhere. By default on my Windows XP system, it is at C:\\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\ImageMixer3\VideoEditorxx.

How to create stock DVD menus for Dimadsoft DVDRemake Pro

There are already 4 types pre-loaded Pool 2 is for PAL (720 x 576) with 2,3 and 4 merged titles and Pool 4 is for NTSC (720 x 480) however if you want to create your own the simplest way is to use Adobe Photoshop or CorelDraw and Muxman to create a dummy title and then import this into the stock menu.

All you need to do is located the correct titleset (this is normally the last one on a DVD merger) and right click it and select replace with still from the menu

a1782d1.jpg

The best way to create your own is to export an existing frame as a BMP to get the location buttons for you custom title and then use this as a starting point then create your own BMP and then use Muxman to create the VOB that you can then import into DVDRMKP to use for your new merger menu

69ef48c.jpg

NOTE:>> Muxman requires the use of 24 bit Bitmaps ONLY, if select the Photoshop 32 bit default this will give you an empty VOB but will not cause an error in Muxman v0.15R so make sure that when you save the file in Photoshop this has been pre-selected with the 24 bit mode.

If you are using the latest FREE version of Muxman v0.16.6 from the 14th October 2005 then you have the option of FORCING the aspect ratio and the resolution for either PAL or NTSC and 4:3 or letterbox 16:9 if you forget to use a 24 bit BMP the resulting VOB will look like this, caught me out a few times I must say..

e33c85b.gif

Anyway point well and truly put I think so if you download version 0.16.6 and FORCE the video you can create not only the VOB file but also the corresponding IFO and BUP (VOB backup) for the BMP that you have created.

fbfd122.jpg

Click on START and then use this resulting VOB file to LOAD into DVDRMKP this will add yours to the stock list for use. It will work first time as you used the existing BMP as a template the buttons will already be in the correct place.

Also check out my CDR-Zone Tips wrt removal of commentaries with DVDRMKP from a few years ago

Hidden within one of the CDR-Zone forums is this great tutorial by blackstar from 2009 no need to rewrite it here so goto the link below

http://backstar.com/blog/2009/09/22/create-new-menu-for-existing-dvd

This tutorial uses the following FREEWARE Tools and a drawing package for creating BMP's you could use MS paint however I suggest either Coraldraw, Paintshop Pro OR the ever popular Adobe Photoshop CS2
