Question about LG Vu CU920 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Cant use my touch screen to access my settings, contacts, or pictures. It's like my screen is frozen or something. I tried taking out the battery with the hopes that it will reset itself but no luck. It wasn't dropped in water or on the floor.

Touch screen is frozen

If the touch screen is frozen, I recommend taking out your battery for 30 seconds and then putting it back in. If that does not work, you should contact your local AT&T store and try to have them give you a new phone.

Screen is frozen

Are you saying that nothing at all happens every time, or sometimes you get the wrong thing i.e. you touch Prog and Rep screen comes up? Have you ever recalibrated your screen? This should be done regularly - at least every six months, but I do mine monthly. The catch is that in order to do this, you need to access the Set Menu and if your screen is not responding at all this would be impossible. In the Set Menu on the last page (I think) there is a "Color Touch Screen Adjust" button. Use this to access the calibration screen, and you must touch exactly in the centre of the two crosshairs until they turn green. Instructions are on Page 31 of my manual.
