According to the information online, the issue might be due to the VAIO Launcher Application.
The VAIO Launcher Application is responsible for the functionality of the AV Mode keys.
Hence, it would be better to re-install the VAIO Launcher Application.
It is also recommended to install the Sony Shared Library before installing the VAIO Launcher Application.

AV Mode button on the Computer will not work if the Sony AV Mode Button Utility is missing or not installed correctly in the Computer.

To resolve the issue, you will need to re-install the Sony AV Mode Button Utility in the Computer.

You can view and download the AV Mode Button Utility from here.

Please download the file to a temporary download folder in the Computer. After that, please open the folder where the file is downloaded and double click the file to begin the installation.
Then, please follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation process. After installation, please restart the Computer for the settings to take the effect. This should fix the issue.

Download the drivers and install it from this link and then downloand Lenovo Energy Management as well from the same link. Once these were installed, restart your computer for the new settings to take effect. Press Fn+esc again to activate the webcam. Please make sure that you download the corresponding drivers with the corresponding system type whether it is a 32bit or 64 bit OS.

you will need to go to the manifacture of your computer website and download the drivers to make your cam work again. also the person that repaired it is responsible for that, he/she was supose to reinstall all your drivers.

only thing you have to do is to re-install your web-cam driver.

• Select your region/country.
• Go to support/download
• Select your model.
• And see if there is driver for your cam. If yes then download. Uninstall your previous one. Install the new driver downloade and enjoy.
