2001 cadillac deville ac compressor not coming on

check for compressor operation -fuses relays and possible low freon

Not cold,but fan will work the same but the windows will come down so fast.

CADILLAC SET UP YOU CANT BYPASS AC COMPRESSOR YOU HAVE TO REPLACE AC COMPRESSOR.

Have the compressor relay checked next

No coolant has to do with heat. freon has to do with ac. Now when you said your ac AND blower doesnt come on right away are you saying it does this ONLY when its on ac or when its on heat too. I would first change out your coolant level sensor or add coolant (which you said was fine) and see what happens. but im sure they are not in relation as the blower motor is on its own circuit

Check the compressors coil for continuity. If nothing reads on the volt meter replace the compressor

does the ac clutch kick on? does the car have freeon? u will have to take it to autozone and let them use a scan tool

compressor will not come on ,makes a horrible noise when you turn air on noise goes away but ac won't blow cold
