Checking the speaker cabling for any shortcuts and eventually disconnecting all cables did not solve the problem.
So you opened the case and disconnected the pcb where the speaker outputconnectors are soldered to. This small board also had the speaker on/off relais (light blue). you should disconnected the main connector (white) from the main pcb and turned the amplifier on again: problem of 'protect; will be solved ....
So you should checked for short cuts in the pcb, removed the dust and made sure the wires (red black black white) were not touching eachother; the isolation can be damaged by the internal heat and the wires are routed so that they touch internal components.
After reconnecting the main connector the receiver should be okay...

Jvc home component mx-kb30 protect mode on

First check that the speaker wires are not shorting, if okay! the problem is in the audio output stage of the receiver, the protect mode comes on if a load is detected.

Can anyone please help me with my superstar red 3900 has i have changed the audio chip and protection diode and i have still got no recieve what could the problem be thanks

No RX or No Audio?

Could be blown protection diodes or if no audio a faulty capacitor close to the audio chip!
The protection diodes can blow if you were close by someone with a high power transmitter, then the diodes would blow kinda like a fuse to protect the rig, result no RX symptom!
Replacing the diodes will cure that problem, located close to the rear of the rig.

I have a ma audio hk-602sx and my protect light wont go off and somthing is clicking inside and as it clicks the protect light blinks.

Disconnect the speakers and then try it again...there may be a shorted speaker or wire if the amp comes out of protect after you disconnect the wires...if the amp stays in protect after you disconnect the wires then there is a problem inside the amp with the circuitry and it will need to get serviced by an electronic tech

The protection light keeps coming on on my ample audio a 410x amp it was working and now its not whats the problem

Most of the time. If the protection light is on that means your protected. Not that there is something wrong. So if it is working then your fine.

Is that on all the time or are you saying the light is on? If that light is always on that just means it's protecting your amp. If it's off and not playing bass then your in trouble
