I cannot burn on my disk because there is already data on it.

I cannot burn on my disk because there is something on it already.I burned one movie on the disk, but I have about 85% of it blank. When I go into Nero and try to burn something else, it wants a target disk. It states there is data already on the disk. The disk is non erasable.

Unless it was initially burned as a "Multi-Session" DVD, you cannot add anything else to it, no matter how much space was left unused.

It depends how you burn movies (for example). If you burned as data disc, it's probably won't play it. Make sure you burn movies as DVD format.

Goes straight to burn and doesen't copy

Which Program? There is a difference between Burn and Copy.

Copy means you have a CD or DvD that already has something on it such as a music CD or a movie DvD and you want to copy it. The system normally reads the CD or DvD and copies the contents to disk then asks you to put in a blank CD or DvD to make the copy.

Burn means you have Data Files, Documents or Music that is already on the disk drive and you want to put it on a Cd or DvD. Normally you just put in a blank CD or DvD then either Drop and Drag, Browse or Copy and Paste the files you want on the CD or DvD.

http://download.cnet.com/movie-torrent/3000-2196_4-10786348.html Movie Torrent is a basic peer-to-peer file-sharing client that lets users download a variety of different media types. Although the program works just fine, expect to seek additional instruction if you're not already familiar with torrents.
peer to peer file sharing is a free program which allows you to download someone elses movies that are online the link might drop out but will automatically search for anotherlink once its dropped out even if you shut your computer down after the link has been dropped when you start your computer again and open up the program will search for and connect to the link
once you have selected a movie the movie starts downloading windows will ask whether you want to run or save it a browse option will open you can save it into a folder in my documents then depending on your burning software you might have to burn it as an ISO image if you dont have the software to burn an iso image there are lots of free burning software programs on the internet http://download.cnet.com/burn4free-cd-and-dvd/3000-2646_4-10217894.html Burn4Free CD and DVD is a burning solution that's compatible with more than 3,000 DVD, Blu-ray and CD burners. Why do movie files sometimes not play fully to the end when using dvdfab6? This happens after burning it to a disk 1 time.

the secret in burning movies to DVDs are that they must be burnt using the slowest speed....the DVD disk may say 16x...but preferably burn it in the slowest speed of say 2x....it may take a long time....but it's worth it....this ensures that all data are copied to the DVD with precision.....some times a bit of data is skipped in fast speed coping....and it causes the movie to stop.

DVD burns ''successfully''...but actually burns nothing!

What comes to mind is that you are burning to an image file and not your actual burner. Make a small data DVD and name it something obvious such as aaaa. After completion of the disk, do a search for the file and see if it is in actuality on the computer. If it is stored as an image file, you need to select the recorder type to your actual burner.

I can download movies and save them in my movie download on my desk top but the problem i'm having is when i go to burn on a dvd wish i use nero it wont burn for me

it the message says the disk is not empty it is because there is data on the disk or the disk is faulty or not readable to your burner. Throw the disk away so you don't reinsert it again by mistake. I have had the same problem with some disks. I do find that some of the cheaper disks are really not worth it in the long run (.It is useless to erase the disk because it will not be able to burn to it anyway.)
