Copies come out with a bend in the middle but not when fed through the bypass. Seems to happen before it reaches the drum.

If you also have a white "void" area across the page where the bend is you possibly have a defective clutch on the rear frame of the machine.Part # BJ-2.6-WO1. Check if the prob is only happening with 11"x 81/2" paper from the cassettes. If 14 and 17" are ok...90% probability its the clutch.

Black line on copies

Check the drum history? If the yield is not yet reached, you should clean the charge roller, cleaning blade brush and cleaning blade. Remember to vacuum beneath the cleaning blade! See if that works, otherwise you should call a techie to replace the drum. If yield is not reached they will charge you for a new drum.

Streaks on copies when original is fed through Imageclass MF 4694 top feeder; doesn't happen when on flatbed

There is dirt on the ADF glass. Normally to the left of the flat bed glass, there is a thin glass strip. Clean it with a damp cloth.

Canon MP140 fails to print

I don't think that has anything to do with reaching the board of 5000 copies. Your cartridges have no chips on them or anything. You might actually have a problem with your black ink cartridge, as the printer is telling you. Remove the black cartridge, gently wipe the contacts with a dry cloth and put it back in. Hold the "resume" button (triangle in circle) for about 10 seconds to try and reset your cartridge. If none of that works, I suggest you buy a new black ink cartridge.

Black line through my copies

It's most likely a drum. If you open the door on the left side (both drop down) you can see about 1/2 way up a shiny black "roller" or cylindar. If it has the strip on it as well, thats your drum unit and it will need to be replaced. If not, than it may be either the fuser roller (which typically doesn't just "happen" , it takes a while to wear a 1" strip off of that roller) or it may be optical... which also doesn't just happen! The drum can be replaced by end user if you are carefull!!!!

I have a dark line across copies

Whats the make and model of the copier?
One culprit might be the drum.  If you can take a look at the drum from your copier and you see black lines on it.  It could be scratches on the drum or it may need a new cleaning blade to clean the toner off the drum.

How to use

Does the copier have a duplexer? Automatic 2-sided copying (duplexing) was an optional feature for the EP2030. If there is a drawer in the lower section of the copier labeled "duplex" then your unit has this feature.

To use it, simply select 1>2 (for single-sided originals) or 2>2 (for 2-sided originals) on the "Orig>Copy" section of the control panel (toward the left side).

If your copier is not equipped with a duplexer, the only way you can make 2-sided copies is to copy the first side and then load the copies back into the paper tray or the manual bypass on the right side of the unit.

Note the the copier copies on the bottom side of paper fed from the paper trays, and the top side of paper fed from the manual bypass.

You can download a .pdf file of an operator's manual for this copier from the Konica Minolta website.

Cannon PC1061 making dark copies

OR you can do it yourself.

your problems seems to be Dirty Mirrors.

Your copiear has 6 mirrors that need to be clean up. 5 of them are kinda easy access. the other needs to be clean thru something thiner than your fingers. (you can see the mirror but no way you can reach it).

Now dont worry (not yet) about that 6th mirror since THEORICALLY it doesnt get dirty.

So try first to clean up the other mirrors. and see what happens.

They are located below the platen glass (remove it) and be careful with the lenses (do not touch them). clean everything that seems to reflect light Or images.

If nothing changes you may want to try out with a new cartdrige. Your drum may be done.
