Question about Kenmore 15129 Built-in Dishwasher
Our Westinghouse Freestyle 920 Dishwasher has had the door seals replaced twice due to rotting. On the second time the seals only lasted approx 12 mths and the resulting water leakage got into the electronics and efffectively killed it. We havent used it for nearly 2 years as am not prepared to waste any more money on it, is this a common problem?
We live in an area with good quality water supply and use approved dishwashing detergent products.
If the machine is kept idle for long time without use, these types of problem happens.
When not in use, apply talcum powder over the gasket. Moist the powder and apply as it will fall off . Leave the door slightly open by keeping some folded cloth or some other soft material and close the door.
Contact the service provider and protect the electronics by a water-resistant cover.
