After deleting temp and prefetch files follow the given steps to enhance the speed of computer.
When you start to shut down Windows XP, it has to quit, or "kill," any live
applications or processes that are currently running. So close all applications first.
However, some applications and processes are always running in the background.
You can reduce the amount of time that Windows XP waits for those applications and
processes to close before Windows XP kills them.
1. Open registry editor
2. Navigate to HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop. Set the
WaitToKillAppTimeout and set the value to 1000. Select the HungAppTimeout
\newline value and set it to 1000 as well.
3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control.
Select the WaitToKillServiceTimeout value and set it to 10000.
4. Close the Registry Editor.

Memory Tweak
1. Start Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) and locate the following key in the registry:
2.On the EnablePrefetcher value, change the setting from 3 to 5 (decimal).
3. Close the registry editor and restart your computer

its not the fault of your printer, your system is getting slow so is the communicaition between your printer and your computer, so please try to keep ypur computers registry in good shape by trying a registry cleaner and defrag your system and you will see your printer is taking commands and processing them at a fast pace.
I hope that solves your problem

Running but much slower than normal

If you are printing Office products (Powerpoint, Excell, etc.) and using a PostScript driver, the routing first converts the document to a .pdf file before printing; this slows operations down. Try a PCL5 driver. I don't really care for the PCL 6 myself.

It is unavoidable that runtime errors, .exe errors, dll errors, missing dll files, Internet errors, blue screen of death would annoy you after you used your computer for a few of years. Additionally, you probably will find you get a slow computer and have to reinstall your operating system.

My pc is running slow

There could be several reasons for this:

[Software type]
1. There are too many trash files (temporary files left after some program crashes or uninstallation; temporary internet files and small amount of free memory after all)
2. Your computer Registry should be cleaned and optimized
3. Your hard disks should be defragmented
4. Some components have bad or corrupted drivers
5. Viruses, trojans and other malware may slow down your PC performance
6. Too many programs running at Startup or in your SysTray
7. Inacurate size of Virtual Memory
My advice would be to use this " Faster Computer Now" guide at:

[Hardware type]
1. If your computer wasn't fast from begining, consider upgrading RAM and/or Processor (see your computer mainboard's documentations for available options)
2. Hardware mullfunction

Of course there are more reasons, but I just mentioned mostly common

Why does my computer hangs (especially when using microsoft excell) whenever i print with sharp ar-153e

Any number of reasons. But quite simply PC's get "congested" over time, with the addition of new programs, and the removal of others. They will slow down over time, simply due to the addition of these programs, but a little maintenance can make dramatic improvements.
A (free) excellent program that you can download, and run, is "CCleaner". Follow this link, to download it, then run the "Cleaner", and then the "registry" portion, (remove all entries that are detected in each scan). It only takes a couple of minutes to run it, and it will almost certainly improve your PC's performance.
Hope it helps:)

Please tell me how to email documents? We just bought an HP Photosmart C6280 All-in-one.

First you will need to configure the mail software on your PC to attach to a mail server. In the case of exchange this will require setting up an account with SMTP access. Otherwise you need only to setup your account settings.

At this point you can scan to any application, say Word and you should have a send via email as an option.

Scan process very slow and cannot be done.

go here and type in slow scanning. It will guide you through your problem.

Also, not closing other applications, and not enough computer memory will cause this, too
