Please see if your solution is the same - clean out the flow meter and if yes, please let me know what the flow meter is (how it looks), where to find it and how to clean it. Thank you.

The Steady Red light indicates that your Water Tank is not properly fit. This could be because of the Drip Tray full problem. Turn off the machine and please remove the drip tray and put it back after the light changes. Good luck does not start - f768464.jpg

Here's the picture of the flow meter:

    I hope this helps you.

  • zkapas May 26, 2010

I've done that several times and nothing changed. Do you have an other suggestion?

  • zkapas May 26, 2010

it did not changed anything. Can you think of an other way?

I don't know whether you've checked the Drip Tray or not. If not please do it. You can try while it is still power on and verify after you leave it outside for few minutes. I've tried my best to fix this, but there's no more solution from my site. If you would like to give another try, please refer to this site and download all the necessary manuals (Repairing and maintenance manuals, schematic)

Please let me know if the problem still persists.

Are you kidding me? I did not pay for this kind of "advice" - just that you say something, so I'm answered and out of your way... I've checked the water lever, the coffee, everything. I've tried "cleaning the lever meter" - as other "experts" recommended - it was VERY hard to reach and did not help at all... Any other suggestions?

Saeco coffee machine with a red blinking exclamation point light won't make coffee, how do I fix it?

When the red exclamation point is flashing slow, something is not where it is supposed to be, bean hopper lid, door, brew mech, water tank empty, dregs box or water tray on dregs container is full. If the red exclamation point is flashing quickly, open the steam valve for pump priming. If pump turns on, and water passes correctly, the light should go off and return to heating stage. If not, we have a blockage or a pump that is not working correctly.

Turn on switch but no noise as before when machine starts up

Hi
Check to make sure that everything is in place. The main culprit is usually the drip tray, or the brew unit.

Flashing lights on my saeco italia espresso machine

I had the same problem, two green flashing lights with one red (water) all 3 would just keep flashing and not turn solid. No coffee can be made or hot water. I could not pump prime. The problem was the steam wand was blocked with old milk residue. It needs unblocking or you will never pump prime. I could not unscrew the steam wand...so I let it sink in a glass full of hot water for a few minutes and then turned the water knob counter clockwise to push out the softened residue. After that, everything was good. When water started flowing out of the steam wand, the red light turned off and the green lights turned solid. The obvious answer to why you can't pump prime is there is a blockage somewhere and best to start with the steam wand. --Mabada

The red Water warning light keeps blinking, even there is enough water supply.

It means ventilate, purge the air out of the system by turning on the knob, the pump should run .Keep it running until the red light stops blinking. If not there's a blockage in the line.

Cleaning light will not quit blinking after cleaning

The same thing happened to our Mr. Coffee this week! I followed the instructions about running vinegar through, then rinsing several times with water. However, the light would not stop blinking. We did by-pass the light by setting the timer for delayed brewing and it worked. However, that blinking light came on again. Then, my husband tired the vinegar wash again but instead of doing it one time, he ran the same vinegar through 6 times until the light went out! Then he proceeded with the water rinse. Our Mr. Coffee is working again!

Blinking small red light.

I had that problem, it is the filetr reminder. I used Reverse Osmosis water so I dont use a =fileter, but the machine doesn't know that. If I recall the manual was wrong on which button to push an hold. I dont remember which was was right (could be the steam button). but one of them does make the light go out in about 5-10 sec.
