Question about LG Televison & Video
From your description, it sounds like the main board is acting up and or one of the buttons on the TV are stuck.
Unplug the TV for a few minutes. One at a time, try to push every button on the TV’s keypad to hear the micro buttons click, especially the MENU button. (It sounds like that is the one stuck down)
Put all of your remotes in another room. They may have a stuck button that is sending a signal to your TV that is causing the problem.
Plug the TV back in, don’t touch any button on the TV and or the Remote, and see it the problem is fixed.
If the problem is not resolved, then it sounds like the main board and the keypad need to be checked out to identify the failure. To check out the main board and or the keypad would require a TV tech.
I hope this information has helped you.
