Question about Epson Stylus C60 InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Printer does not go

Hi there,
The printed page had a lot of vertical lines and gaps between colours before it stopped working. After a few head and nozzle cleanings it showed perfect condition with four coloured inks. Then the machine stopped going altogether, the printer's middle sign (red) started flashing. Pressed the button but nothing happened and it stayed flashed (no paper jammed and ventilation is sufficient) it then stopped flashing but the red stayed on. Then the power switch (yellow) stayed on as well. Also tried to replace the both ink cartridges to the new ones (compatible model) but made no differences to it. The printer is now completely out of function. Could u please help me as I need to print a few party invitation for 5 yr old urgently.
Printer model: Epson Stylus C61 Ink cartridge used: compatible model to TO28/29

After few head cleaning, ink counter running low, so ink ligh (red) flashing. Then ink counter runing out, so the light stayed on. After replacing both of ink, red light stayed on, because the compatible ink (chip) not recognized by printer. Check epson status monitor. Use original ink or refill and reset ink level counter.

Why is my dell 926 printer is blacking everything out

Hi,

The print head nozzles may be clogged. From the Utility section found in the printer driver, clean the print heads by performing a head cleaning followed by printing a nozzle check pattern. A head cleaning and nozzle check must be performed as a cycle. After printing a nozzle check, examine the printed dot pattern. Each staggered horizontal and straight vertical line should be complete, with no gaps in the dot pattern. If there are gaps in the dot pattern, continue with another cycle. Performing up to 6 cleaning cycles is not uncommon if the print heads are severly clogged.

Now you will be able to print in colour.

Hope this helps.

Colour ink not printing

If the printer is printing blank pages, make sure you are using the correct printer driver and make sure the paper size is correctly selected in the driver. If the printer is printing black only, the "Ink" option in the printer driver may be set to "Black" instead of "Color" or a setting in the software may be set to print black only. Also, the print head nozzles may be clogged.

Perform up to 3 cycles if necessary. If the nozzle check is not printing completely, and if the head cleanings do not help the nozzle check pattern to print completely, turn the printer off overnight and try the cleaning cycles again.

Try a new ink cartridge. Also, make sure you are using a genuine ink cartridge and has the same number as your old catridge.

Does not print

***hi there,il be willing to help you on that. ****
the nozzles of the printer might be clogged by dried inks thats why when your printing, its feeding the paper, as if its printing but no inks on the paper. print a nozzle check to see which part or color have clogs, if there are gaps or breaks, do head cleaning untill no more gaps then try printing.
Running a Printer Check
1. Load a few sheets of plain paper in the sheet feeder. 2. Turn off the Epson Stylus NX100 Series. 3. Hold down the nx100_tx100_ug.1.96.1.jpg Stop button as you press the nx100_tx100_ug.1.96.2.jpg On button to turn the Epson Stylus NX100 Series back on. Hold down both buttons until the nx100_tx100_ug.1.96.3.jpg On light begins to flash, then release the buttons. 1. Load a few sheets of plain paper in the sheet feeder. 2. Check the nozzle check pattern that prints to see if there are gaps in the lines. nx100_tx100_ug.1.96.5.jpg 5. If there are no gaps, the print head is clean and you can continue printing. If there are gaps or the pattern is faint, clean the print head. If your printouts are unexpectedly light, or dots or lines are missing, you may need to clean the print head. This unclogs the nozzles so they can deliver ink properly. Print head cleaning uses ink, so clean it only if quality declines.
You can also clean the print head by holding down the stop button on the printer for three seconds. (This only works when the red ink light is off.) Run a nozzle check to confirm that the print head is clean.
Caution: When you don’t turn on your printer for a long time, print quality can decline, so turn it on and print a few pages at least once a month to maintain good print quality. ***if my troubleshooting steps are helpful, pls vote for me, i will appreciate it, so that I can be a part of fixya, thanks, Godbless****

Printer output has shadows, blurring, streaks, lines, poor color

Seem like blocked hole(s) on the color print head...
Most likely if there is a deep clean option then do it (may need a few times to unblock a hole or never).
Also get the printer physically cleaned up if you can see dusts inside (vrtical lines on color bars).
