AC not blowing cold air

The ac is blowing slightly cool air but not cold. Is there a way to get a recharge or something like that?

Make sure your filters are clean first. Then you can get the refrigerant charge checked and some added if necessary. I would get some prices first. Its just about as cheap to get a new window unit as it is to get one charged so check around first.

I dont know if im to late on this one yes hes right about the filter but that wont do it most times removing the unit and cleaning the coils make sure you cover the electrical components first i dont know the model you have but this regards all ac units plus do you have a switch that puts the air for outside or inside if so turn it to make sure its on inside air

2008 Trailblazer Air Conditioner not cooling. blows warm air for the first few miles then cools. It has been recharged.

Philip, You may have to have a good tech, check, diagnose and estimate repair. Could be a few things causing poor AC, recheck your charge level, check your fan at the condenser, make sure the condenser isn't obstructed, compressor clutch could be faulty, system could be plugged with contaminates limiting refrigerant flow. You say the system has been recharged, was it done properly, if not system could be plugged. AC system should of had system checked for leaks, evacuated, flushed, new orifice tube, then recharged with proper quantities of oil and refrigerant. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

2003 Lincoln LS hot air while stopped cold while driving

Hello
Based on what you have said and my 30 years a Ford dealer tech I believe you have a slightly low AC system refrigerant charge due to a small leak at the AC compressor or the AC line connections. I would have a shop hook up a set of gauges to monitor the pressures at idle and see just how low it is. DO NOT ADD UNTIL YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IS NEEDED, YOU CAN LOCK UP THE COMPRESSOR.

My girlfriends 2003 beetle,s ac does not blow cold air. This happened after an issue with low coolant. Is there any connection here, or is there other potential causes?

does it blow cold ac when the car is started after sittin overnight? if it does and gradually gets warmer as the car warms up, then you may have an air bubble in your cooling system caused by the low coolant level. if it blows warm anytime, then your ac system may need to be inspected or recharged.

Air conditioner blows cool air but it does not blow cold air.

Start by recharging your system. If you want to do it yourself. Most auto parts stores and hardware stores have recharge kits. Purchase a kit with a gauge to prevent overfilling.
