Question about Craftsman 22 in Precision Cut Lawn Mower Blade
I have a mulching craftsman self propelled mower. We turned it on its side to change the blade, and I'm not sure what happened, but the cord is getting hung up and won't pull right.
Did you replace the blade with a heavier blade, or an identical one? If the pull cord won't pull, it's usually either the blade or the blade shaft causing the problem. Try oiling the shaft and making sure nothing is obstructing the blade from turning.
If you have a pair of heavy gloves, try turning the blade by hand and see if it moves. Squirt some oil onto the shaft where it meets the mower and try turning it again.
