This is usually caused by a frozen or stopped up defrost drain. Usually every 8 hours the refrigerator goes into a defrost cycle to melt ice on the evaporator, if the drain is plugged up the water has no where to go and usually spills out into the floor. Try unplugging the power to your refrigerator, removing all the freezer shelves, removing the back panel in the freezer and at the very bottom you'll usually see a metal pan with a small hole in the middle. We user a hair dryer the thaw the ice blockage and also pour hot water from a cup into the metal pan. Exercise caution so you don't electrocute yourself by letting water get in the hair dryer. Use common sense and you should be fine. Melt the blockage and reassemble. That should fix your problem.

Ice accumulation on the bottom of the freezer

Your drain line is clogged, that is located behind the white wall inside of the freezer. The water comes from defrost cycle, that happens every 8-12 hours. You need to defrost it and snake it.

You can buy a kit from whirlpool. In the kit is a metal tab that mounts onto the defrost heater. It is long enough to go into the hole. When the heater comes on for defrost the heat transfers down to the hole and keeps it from getting plugged up with ice. Part number 819043

Water and ice in bottom of freezer, occasional water on floor

I believe your defrost condensate pan below the evaporator is blocked with ice and now when defrost happens the water pours over the tray and to the bottom of the freezer. You will need to defrost the ice in the collector tray and the pour a solution of hot water and clorox to make sure the water ends up in the condensate pan below your refrigerator. So unplug the refrigerator remove the panel and let me know what you find. I have some more solutions depending on what you see is happening. Thanks, Sea Breeze

GE Freezer Leaking

Open the freezer door, remove the bottom tray, smash the ice on the floor with your fist to remove it. Now get a glass of hot water and pour it into the trough which is at the bottom of the back wall of the freezer. Allow a few minutes for the ice to melt then remove it with an ice pick or scrrewdriver. Once the ice is out, pour more hot water into the trough. Now take a long tube ( an old washer fill hose works perfectly) and stick one end in the hole in the trough. Now fill your mouth with warm water and blow it very hard through the tube. Once the drain is clear, pour some hot water and a very little amount of bleach through the hole.

Ice build up in bottom of freezer

Check the ice maker. sometimes they get cracked a will leak water into the freezer compartment. Also check the ice maker fill tube for leaks or someone could have spilled something. Although this is tipical of a clogged drain. What happens is when the fridge go into derfost, it will melt all the frost that is on the evaporator, turning it into water. The water drains down to a trough under the evaporator and down a drain hole in the trough ( this trough is behind the evaporator cover ) Removing the melted frost from the freezer. If that drain is clogged, the water cannot leave the freezer. Then when the fridge starts back up ,it will freez the water that was not drained. After repeated defrosting the water will fill this trough and run off into the bottom of the freezer to be frozzen when the fridge starts to cool again.

Freezer leaking water

The drain is plugged just below the coils in the back of the freezer. My fridge had the same problem and I found the hose (which can be accessed from the rear bottom) was plugged with mold. Also, i noticed the hose was connected to the water holding pan and was too close to the bottom and easy to plug. I removed it from the connector and just let it dangle in the holding pan.
