I have a 60pl9200d/37 philips dlp tv. I replaced the bulb with a brand new one and I am still receiving the bulb issue indicated by the blue lights. Any ideas?

I don't know the model but it would seem a reset would do the trick. See if there is a button on the cpu board and that should do the trick if not try unplugging a re plugging unit . Logic needs reset by a switch or by removing power

I turn on my Mitsubishi WD-73833 TV and it turns itself off

Lessing of brightness on a DLP set is a sign of imminent bulb failure.

A new bulb is in order.

Phillips tv no pic no sound just flashing light

Its not going to be a do it yourself repair--likely a bad board or even boards--have a repair center (authorized for this brand) inspect it.

Just getting a set like this apart safely is tricky.

Ok dumb question but here it goes. Have a Philips 42inch flat panel HDTV. Today I noticed the blue power on indicator light, was no longer blue it is white. TV appears to be working ok, but what is it?

The LED light (the light bulb that isn't actually a bulb), has probably either burnt out or dimmed so that the colour has been changed. Nothing to worry about

Problem with mitsubishi wd65737. thought the bulb was bad, bought a new bulb replaced it and now the screen doesnt want to come on. light on the front of the tv turns green, you have sound but no picture...

Lets try an error code operational checl. Unplug the tv and plug it back in. With the standby LED on press and hold the MENU and DEVICE/INPUT buttons for 5 seconds. The LED will flash a certain number of times pause for a while and blink again. Count the blinks before and after the pass, then post it here so that I can tell you what the problem is

kristy alcor,

Sounds like a bad lamp. This is not a difficult replacement but the lamps are not cheap. I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4168009-change_lamp_in_dlp_projection_tv which explains the replacement process, where to get quality parts at a good price and why you need to replace your lamp.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating.

Samsung 50" DLP - Lamp Light Blinking after bulb replacement

Listen closely. The tv should make a high pitch whine as it turns on. If it does wait and see if it tries this a few times. If yes then check the bulb, I have seen cases where the lamp shoves the power connector back into the set. If the tv starts with a grown or heavy vibration noise, then your color wheel may have broken and needs replaced.

Blue/green spots on dlp

If your bulb light came on, Replace it before the bulb goes out. if not It could damage the bulb housing when the bulb pops. I have the same problem and dont have a solution for the spot.
