Hello. Look in the local yellow pages under power washers as you may have a shop in the area that has or can get all parts. If not go on the computer to This site is excellent and has most parts. J.

NEVER start an engine on a power washer with pump attached. You will damage pump and get no or very little pressure. Replacing pump only fix. Pump for this washer about $49. Check spring on carb for throttle open/close

I bought a honda pressure washer power boss 3000. I load the gasoline, start the machine, but pressure water is not coming out from the trigger. i tried so many things , but can t get started.

If you are using a water tank for water supply, remove the water supply line from the pressure washer and connect a water hose from a faucet. Turn the water on, then crank the engine. Pull the trigger of the spray gun until water comes out. When then water starts to spray properly the release the trigger, shut engine down with pressure on the line then reconnect the water supply from the tank to the pressure washer. If this fixes the problem then the problem was "air-locked"! Happens alot with new pressure washers that have never been run. If you need any other help, please email me @

My Karcher 2400 Pressure Washer will not syphon cleaning fluid. I have a reconditioned machine and the syphon for cleaning fluid has not worked for a while.Everything looks clean but still does not work'...

The black tip nozzle puts the right amount of pressure on the line to draw up the cleaning solution.

If your power washer is like mine, the cleaning fluid adapter is a 'T shaped' brass valve that fits in-line along the hose line.
There is a brass stem sticking out.
The stem has a tiny ball valve on the end.
A plastic hose fits onto the stem, and the plastic hose goes into bucket of cleaner.
As water travels through power washer hose, it creates suction that draws cleaning solution through the tiny ball valve.

The brass ball valve gets clogged or wears out ... we used to replace the stem every so often.
Sherwin Williams used to carry a replacement stem ... but they may not sell little parts any more.
It's been 14 years since I used the suction device.
I got fed up with the thing not working.

We changed over to a pump-up hand-held sprayer for applying cleaning chemical.
The pump-up puts more chemical on the spots where you need it.
So one guy puts chemical on, and second guy comes behind with power washer ... no more replacement parts, and one tip stays in the gun so we never lose a tip.
A pump-up sprayer is half the cost of replacing the T-shaped valve.
Duh-simple is the business model.

Tub over flowed. Never went into the wash cycle!

This problem is commonly attributed to a malfunction with the Pressure Switch (also known as a Water Level Switch). The pressure switch is located behind the load size selector knob on the operator console. Before assuming the switch to be bad, however, you need to check the small plastic air hose that attaches to the switch inside the console to make sure it is still connected and does not have any cracks or leaks. The following link explains:

The small air hose needs be attached to the pressure switch and have no holes or cracks. Without the air hose attached, the pressure switch will not detect the pressure differential from the wash tub as the washer fills. This is the most common cause of washer overflow problems. It is recommended that you check the entire length of the hose to be sure. If you need to access the interior washer cabinet components, this model washer is designed so that the exterior case comes off. The following link explains how:

If the air hose is intact, then it is recommended that you replace the pressure switch. Replacement parts may be purchased at any of the following web sites:

The first three sites on the list also include exploded view parts illustrations to assist you with locating and properly identifying any parts you may need. If the model number is correct, the part numbers you may need are as follows:

Pressure Switch - W10335056
Pressure Hose - 353244

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

My kenmore top load washer will not stop filling with water i have replaced the inlet valve and checked the drain any other suggestions

Hi, there is a hose that conects the water level switch to the rear of the tub. Sometimes the the hose gets plugged with lint or old soap nd will not give the level switch a proper reading. The cup on the tub that the hose attaches to might need cleaned out as well. If there is nothing plugging the cup or hose, you might need a new water level switch. I hope this helps you. Please let me know if you need more assistance in this matter.

Won't fillCalypso whirlpool washer model#GVW9959KQ1 LD on display

LD is long drain error, the machine does not fill because it is in fault mode, but error is on drain system.

If there is a drain problem, the parts that must be checked are drain hose, pressure switch, drain pump assembly, timer control.

Check if the drain hose at the back is kinked or blocked.

Test the pressure switch, blow into the small hose, and use a multimeter to check if switch has continuity.

Remove access panel and get to the drain pump hose to check for ablockage. You will need to disconnect the hose and collect the water.

Keep a container ready to collect water when you undo pump hose.

Ifall the rest is OK, test and eventually replace timer board.Problemwith water pump are far more commonly causing this problemsthenfaulty timer board.

Parts and diagrams available here.
