To fix this press Start > Run

In the Run box, type in (without quotes) "regsvr32 jscript.dll"
You should receive a popup that says the registration succeeded.
You then should be able to display JavaScript in your browser properly

Another thing to do is update your flash player, click on the link below to download:

Now, click on the link below and download the free Abexo registry cleaner program, this program removes old files from your harddrive

When downloading from the internet i get a message saying your java is not switched on.where in my menu set up can i activate it

Internet Explorer 8 Windows
  1. Click "Tools" in the menu bar, and then select "Internet Options".
  2. Click the "Security" tab. For the Internet zone, be sure that the Security level is set to "Medium" or below. (If you have chosen to customize your security settings for the Internet zone, be sure that under the Java heading, "Java permissions" is not set to "Disable Java." You will want to select one of the three safety levels instead. Also be sure that under the Scripting heading, "Scripting of Java Applets" is set to "Enable" or "Prompt.")
  3. Next, click the "Advanced" tab.
  4. Scroll down until you see the sub heading "Java"
  5. Check the boxes next to "Java JRE"
Firefox 3.5 for Windows
  1. Click "Tools" in the menu bar, and then select "Options".
  2. Click on "Content".
  3. Put checks in the boxes next to "Enable Java" and "Enable Javascript".

Click OK
Click OK
Restart IE

Still not working ? Update software

use the links on this page to help update software.

After updating check you do not have old versions of Flashplayer, Shockwaveplayer and Java running alongside the latest - this can cause conflicts
Start / control panel / programs
