Hi, F35 has to do with the pressure switch which is located under the top panel on the back right. It will have a little black hose hooked to it. This happens when SUDS or detergent somehow gets up into it and usually locks unit out. Only solution is to replace pressure switch. You can find the tech sheet behind the bottom front panel usually tape to the back side of that panel or taped to the bottom right side inside unit.

Take care

What does F35 code mean and what to do?

  • Run an empty cycle without using any detergent. Often the fault code displays when too much detergent is used and the detergent sits in the drainage system. A cycle without any detergent is often enough to clear out the buildup.
  • 2 Pull the drain hose out of the standpipe mounted to the wall behind the washing machine. Complete a visual inspection of the hose for any clogs. If you see any, remove the screw that holds the hose clamp onto the discharge pump and then force water through the drain hose with pressurized water from a garden hose. Reattach the hose and then run an empty cycle to see if the code goes away.

    What is error code f35

Error Code F35 = Analog Pressure Sensor Failure
If this failure is displayed, there is any malfunction of the steamer component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board.

    Possible Causes / Procedure:
    * Check if pressure hose is fixed correctly.
    * Check if the airtrap is not blocked.
    * Check if the hose is not blocked.

If the washer does not accept inputs from the control panel, follow the Hard Reset steps below to reset the control:
    * Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
    * Plug the power cord into the wall outlet or turn the breaker back on and wait 30 seconds.
    * Press the Pause / Cancel / Stop button twice to clear the display.
    * Start a short cycle, to check operation of the appliance, by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the appliance starts.

    Note:
If the Hard Reset does not work, there may be an internal failure with the washer, that requires service.

Hope this helps (remember to rate this answer).

I START TO WASH AND A SUD APEARS AFTER 4 TO 6 MINUTES IT STARTS TO WASH THE WATER POURS INTO THE MACHINE AND IN A MINUTE AFTER IT STARTST IT STOPS ALL THE LIGHTS GO OUT AND A CODE F35 FLASHES CONSTANTLY...

The SUD display could mean several things. A faulty drain pump, excessive detergent, excessive suds, or an extra heavy load.
Open the front bottom panel and clean the drain pump filter of foreign objects. Also check the drain hose and make sure it is not clogged or kinked.
If too much detergent was used, run the unit thru a rinse/spin cycle then a normal cycle without adding any detergent.
Check the wire harness connections to the drain pump, pressure switch, and control board

I have a HE5t kenmore elite front loading washer. It has done great for about 15 months. We were away for about 3 weeks, and since we have returned, I put in a load of clothes, and it tries to start...

F35 is a water level error.
The water level switch (pressure switch) has malfunctioned.

If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch.

With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions.

If the fault codes return after doing this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch.

Also - please be sure to use He soap.

I've had this same problem and had a service man come in. The reason for the colde is an over-gunked up machine due to the directions for amount of soap to use on he bottles being incorrect.

Run the washer empty several timres with just vinegar in place of the soap and then repeat with bleach. I've been told this will take care of the problem, but it may take many cycles before the codes will stop appearing.

Also, from then on, only use 3 tablespoons, yes 3 tablespoons or 1 ounce of detergent per wash. The 1/4 cup that most he detergent bottles tell us to use is way too much.
