Question about Dymo LabelWriter 400 Thermal Printer

Just changed labels to 99010 and can no longer print

I was printing address labels successfully on 99014 labels until I ran out. I did have some 99010 labels handy so I inserted the labels and I attempt to continue printing my address labels, but I continue to receive a windows error in the system tray that " this document failed to print "

running out of ideas.....it should not be this difficult !!!!

any help appreciated and thanks in advance for your time

I have the same problem, everything was fine till I ran out of labels. All I did was switch out one roll for another and now it won't print at all. I also tried disconnecting from power source for a few minutes, shut down several times, still nothing!

Lexmark 125 Prints Labels with color cartridge

I kicked the **** out of it and it started to print. I don't recommend it if you are afraid you may damage the electronics. The way I saw I spent damn near 70 dollars on some useless print cartidges nothing was wrong with them. The error message kept saying ADD CARTRIDGES. Anyway I'm thinking about a new printer anyhow.

How can I fix this problem?

My printer is only a few months old. I have used up all the label roll that came with the machine and have put in a new roll (99010) which is slightly slimmer than the original one. I have selected the correct roll number from the list but the machine will not recognise it. It stops printing before the wording is complete and stops past the perforations (1/4 way into the next label). HELP!

If it is not the ribbon, you may have to replace the print head.

I had the same issue when using Avery labels, here's what resolved it for me.

Go to Control Panel, Printers, go to the active default, right mouse click, click Printing Prefrences..., change the drop down "Type is:" to 'Other Photo Paper" and apply.

You should then be good to go!

Alignment wrong when using label stationery - OK with plain paer

Hi,
open the related word document.
select 1 line above the Text in question, press enter twice.
That way, the text will drop by 2 lines.
try a test page on this, alternatively try using a different label layout, until you get the desired result.
Other than the AveryL7160.
