You might have the touchpad disabled.

Try pressing FN + F9 to toggle it back on.

Also there is an important bios update for your machine that prevents a battery issue from occurring. Apparently there has been a battery recall for your model.

You can check the details HERE under the service bulletins tabs.

Curser will not move from center of screen. I repaced batteries, sincronized with part that goes into the computer. Tried to turn-off and restart computer, resincronized again, curser still doesnot move.

I am not sure what device you are having a problem with so can't diagnose problem the best. The word cursor implies the mouse. Make sure the mouse has fresh batteries and is synced withh the wireless transmitter by pushing the reset button on both. If not go to start, control panel, devices, mouse and set each setting. Lastly a mouse is not seen by the computer unless it is plugged in and a reboot is then done. Hope this helps.

Wireless mouse curser does not move new batteries installed

If the mouse totally stop working like left/right click, moving, etc then i suggest replace the battery of your mouse and try. If the same result then again install the driver & restart the netbook.
Thanks waiting for your feedback.

Did you try repairing the mouse with the receiver? During battery change it might have lost its pairing information.

Slow cursor

Hiya! Check your batteries (if wireless) and try a different mousing surface. They can be picky with reflective or transparent surfaces. If you want, you can check out the mouse curser speed settings by going to Start > Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options. You should see a speed slider there.
