Question about Canon Cameras
Cannon powershot SD850IS suddenly is not recognized as being hooked-up to laptop USB port. Laptop makes a noise when camera turned on, but software says no camera recognized and thus no window appears to download the photos. Uninstalled and reinstalled software, but still have problem.
This could be on the ground of hardware or software grounds...
if the problem is of Software then we can solve it at home.
1st reinstall your cam's driver.
2nd set your gadget to the factory defaults settings.
If problem persist then try your cam with another laptop or desktop. And see that whether such laptop or Desktop catches your gadget or not. If not then problem is of hardware nature. Get it serviced.
