It needs to have the fuser taken apart and rebuilt.
There are wicks and wiper blades that wear out.
Then they do you get excessive oil on the paper and
pretty much everywhere.
If your doing it yourself I can provide you a good and reliable vendor.

If your looking for parts, Call here.

    https://www.partsdrop.com/store/

Ask for Britt, tell him Rick had you call.

But if your looking for service. you can go to Xerox.com and look for a service dealer or company in your area. They all should be listed on that site.

the kit is what you will most likely need. Not very cheap though.

The fuser is located in the back of the printer. I think it's held in by to screws. It's about hte same size as the toner cartridge. Please visit these websites.

Blue, black thick line and print is not so glossy

I work on the doc 12 every day. first look at fuser web once out look at the metal roller in side the web slot make sure there is no build up..the large gray fuser rolls should be covered with oil coatting so make sure the oil is pumping.

The copied paper is half soiled with fuser oil.

Pull out fuser unit and remove the top. ( let machine cool down, VERY HOT!!) does the fuser web need replacing ( looks like a white paper towel roll) it has fuse oil on it. is it overflowing?? try cleaning, do not spill on floor it is very slippery and hard to clean up.
