I am sorry that this question pops up connected to this motherboard section, my mistake.

What I really am asking, is a general question of how to add ANY product that is not on this site yet? I really do not have a problem with any equipment (at the moment), so I would just like to prepare myself by adding all the products/equipment I am using...

    Hi,

Perhaps if you can post back with the specific brand/make and model of the item, then we could be of further assistance.

    Good luck and kind regards.

Hi again LasseS,

I would likewse be interested to know since I have no idea myself. May I suggest you forward your question to General Support - support@fixya.com as they would be in a better position to address your concern and perhaps even make changes if warranted to suit "Adding New Products".

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a Gigabyte GA-K8VM800M Motherboard with 2gb ram. I want to disable the onboard graphics card and add another VGA card. Which card should I go for?? Will adding VGA card, show physical memory as 2gb...

Hello you can download the manual, and drivers here:

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=1810#manual

You can add a graphic card 1 x AGP slot (8x/4x-AGP 3.0 compliant), supports 1.5v display card only.
And Max capacity: Up to 2GB DDR400 RAM by 2 DIMM slots.

ATI/AMD makes very good graphic cards.

Adding a graphic card on the mainboard will not slow the physical memory. It has it`s own ram.

Good luck

Please select your windows version.
Select the vga driver and download it.
Unzip the file before installation.

There is no jumper settings for adding a video card.
It has an AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) 8x/4X slot.

No Sound After Reinstall

Have you Reset you BIOS,because after you build a machine up,the Bios has to be set to Default, and were you grounded with a arm band when you put the parts together?,During the assembly it is paramount that you wear a grounded arm band so that your body electrical discharge does not interfere with the components, you probably have a hardware/software conflict.some thing in the BIOS is most likely left on.or set to hardware.

Adding Memory to Gateway 420r

If you mean a Gateway 420GR (there's no "420R" listed on their site), then you can have up to 4GB of RAM and you can use 1GB modules. Here's a link to the specs page on their site:

Adding more memory

Yes and no. Depends on the motherboard and the type of memory. On some boards you have to add memory in pairs, others you can add one stick, then there's parity, etc, etc. Check the memory that's on the board, check the manual to see how it recommends you upgrade memory. One wrong stick can turn your new CPU into a nice end table.

Let us know what you find out.
