Karcher 650m micro switch problem

My Karcher 650m pressure washer has stopped working at all. I thoughtthe fuse had gone but having dismantled the black plastic boxcontaining the switch I can press the micro switch and make the washerwork as normal.
Is the pressure switch at fault?
I can't see it moving at all but it looks to me as though the blackplastic rod should rise under water pressure and press the little whitebell crank to activate the micro switch. Am I right and if so why isn'***?
Also where does the V-shaped piece of spring steel fit? It popped outwhen I opened the black unit and I can't see for the life of me whereit fits back in (I guess it provides force against the operation of themanual rotary knob).

New k 3.190, motor does not work

So I just read this very helpful posting.

I dismantled my Karcher 3.190 plugged in the hose and spotted a leak coming from the inside on part of the casing?. When I switched on the pump, it started gushing. It's just out of warranty!
Do I,
A: junk it and slam Kirchner via social media or is it
B; fixable at a reasonable cost.

Opinions, witty replies, and solutions always welcome.

Karcher pistol gun has broken

i do not think there is a pressure release valve , sounds like the plastic inside the pistol has become brittle and has failed under pressure , you dont say how old the pistols are ? and if you run strong detergents through them .

Karcher pressure washer won't start

Dear ralph_birtwi,
Most pressure washers when their gun is released, the machine stops automaticaly. This is done ny means of a control valve. When the gun is closed...pressure is built and the control valve moves and switches a micro switch off. In your case the micro switch is still closed in off position. Now this happens if a machine is left and stored with pressure in it., This control valve could get jammed and leaving the micro switch in off position. It could also stay in off position by sticking, due to incorrect chemical.
So the control valve or even called spill valve, must be renewed.
Sometimes a little lubrication with the right type of silicon grease will get the control valve working again. This job is sometimes delicate and better done by a qualified technician.
Regards,
fulltech.

Karcher 520M Pressure washer won't operate at high pressure

I had the same problem - good water inlet pressure, no output pressure, even though the lance and handle seemed to be clear and working find.
I found that the electrical switch wasn't being operated correctly by the spill valve and wasn't turning the motor on/off correctly.
Inside the plastic electrical box there is a small white device that presses against the micro switch assembly. Carefully adjust the allen screw perhaps 1/4 turn out or 1/4 turn in to obtain correct operation of the microswitch - you will hear the micro switch clicking in and out when re-assembled. I'm sure they must have a rig to check correct positioning of this screw in the factory!
Hope it helps - mine is working find now and saved me buying another!
